Any number of things might have brought you to this page…
Maybe you’re unsatisfied with where you are in life. You thought you’d land the relationship or career of your dreams by now.
Are you trapped in the paralyzing fear or memories of a traumatic experience that you can’t escape? Restless thoughts consume you at night, and the idea of trusting others terrifies you.
The meditation apps or self-help blogs you’ve used or read do absolutely nothing to calm the racing thoughts and constant worry that plague your mind.
Perhaps you’re tired of the same boring routine you experience every day. You want things to get better but don’t have the hope they can. It’s leaving you unmotivated about anything in your life – favorite hobbies, family, work, and friends.
Does focusing on simple tasks make you feel overwhelmed and stressed? You want to be productive and get things done like everyone else, but your mind won’t let you.
You’re at the end of your rope and don’t know what to do…
Why do I feel like this all of the time?
Will I ever feel “normal” again?
What are others thinking about me?
Your life doesn’t have to continue this trajectory. You’re in the right place!
Let’s talk about how therapy can help…
I base my therapeutic approach on partnership with my client.
We’ll develop therapy goals and interventions together. The practical interventions I provide can change your life and circumstances meaningfully.
Therapy can be an enriching and healing experience. You can navigate why things are happening, determine the root of the problem, learn more about how you heal a deep wound, or work through a relationship challenge by focusing on strategies you can use in everyday life.
There are paths to deal with what’s hurting you and stopping you from living your life to the fullest. So what are you waiting for?
And it’s so easy to get started!
We can meet in person in my comfortable office with a splendid view and a warm, comfortably lit environment. Or, we can meet online, where you’re in the comfort of your own home and space.
Physical and emotional safety are paramount at MCCS. When you feel welcomed and safe, you will get the most out of the process.
As a counselor, my goal is to create an atmosphere where you will feel comfortable sharing your innermost thoughts, experiences, and history.
In the first few sessions, we will work to build therapeutic rapport. After the first couple of sessions, the actual work begins. Remember, we are a team, but you oversee what we talk about and when. I will not dictate how you feel, should feel, or why you feel the way you feel.
I do not have all the answers, but I will try to assist you in navigating a healthy solution for yourself. I won’t promise any miracles or magic, but sometimes, just making the initial steps to help resolve your issues is just what the doctor ordered!
In the spirit of treating the whole of you, we will not just talk about your mental health. We’ll talk about your diet and exercise. Why? What you eat and your physical activity can enhance or harm your mental health – just more education, so you know how to take care of yourself beyond the therapy room.
In a safe and judgment-free space, I will introduce you to various professionally researched therapeutic approaches and best practices.
Now is the time… YOUR time.
